Hobby Coin Exchange is an exclusive mail order company - buying and selling USA coinage 1/2 cents through gold. The heart and strength of Hobby Coin is our 36-month, interest free layaway program, making the impossible to obtain coins available to our customers.

36 Month Layaway Program

Minimum monthly payment for Layaway is $50.00 monthly. This gives you $1,200.00 in buying power. Once you have an established account with us you can add coins without any additional down payment. You can send a personal check or money order monthly. All layaway orders are kept in our safe deposit boxes and are shipped as soon as the final balance for a layaway order is paid.

How to best use your layaway?

Select a (comfort zone) monthly payment of $50.00 or more. Each separate layaway will be shipped when paid. For example: you have 3 layaways at $400 ($1,200.00 value) each with a total interest free monthly payment of $50.00. When you pay off a layaway order, it is time to order again. Your $50.00 monthly payment will not increase as long as your total balance is $1,200.00 or less.

Postage, Handling, and Insurance (P, H and I) for Orders Add postage plus the cost of insurance as shown below:

Postage and Insurance:

For orders under $100.00: add $5.00

For orders over $100.00: add $5.00 for the first $100.00

and $1.00 for each additional $100.00

**You must be 21 years of age to participate in a the layaway program.
